100% Design

It is staggering how this Exhibition has grown and developed from its modest beginnings in a marquee by the Duke of York's Barracks to the hugely varied, influential contemporary exhibition at Earls Court, it has now become. To launch this year's seminar programme there was a Pleniary Panel Discussion on whether interior design is a profession under attack. Jenny Gibbs was part of the panel which was chaired by Vicky Richardson editor of Blueprint and included designers and academics. Although the outcome was not perhaps entirely conclusive and the organisers were experiencing problems with the sound equipment on this first session it was good to see so many KLC students in attendance.
