More Kick-Start your Interior Design Studies

To help Open Learning Diploma students who have done the initial Kickstart day (either on the previous day of this two day course or who have attended a Kickstart day on a previous occasion)

Kick-start Your Studies has proved an enormously popular and successful launch pad into their studies for many students. Students have found the day hugely helpful in giving them the confidence to tackle project work and have asked for more – so, More of Kick-start was born!

This is another action packed day following the theme from day one. The aim of the day is to further clarify what work is required for the projects and give students the opportunity to have a go at various aspects of it under supervision.

There will be further information about curtain and fabric notebooks, along with a more detailed look at textiles. Students will have a go at planning furniture layout and there will be a chance to do more technical drawing practice.

The day will be based around designing a bedroom and fabrics selected on day one will be used for the second day to create a scheme, which will incorporate both bed and window treatments.
