It can be quite daunting when first starting the technical drafting stage of a Garden design/scheme. The day is designed to help you gain confidence of this aspect and will be staged from an introduction to the equipment required to draft a garden plan through to some basic pencil exercises, experimenting with planting symbols, concluding with inking of a small section of a garden scheme.

The syllabus includes:

• Introduction to equipment
• Understanding scale, plans and elevations
• Initial Pencil exercises
• Planting symbols
• Initial inking exercise to build confidence
