KLC is the only design college in the U.K. to be accredited by both the BAC and the ODLQC.

KLC School of Design has been licensed by the UK Border Agency to enrol international students under Tier 4 of the Points Based System.

KLC was also a Regional Winner of the National Training Awards for excellence in training.

Details School

“Details” School of Interior Design was established in June 2000 on the assumption that the art of interior design is an essential element of the daily lifestyles worldwide.

Details School offers a comprehensive intensive training course for high school and university graduates which allows students to excel in the skills of interior decorating combined with a thorough grounding in the basic laws of composition and planning, historic period styles and contemporary trends that influence interior design solutions.

The School’s philosophy is to foster the artistic potential of the student with an emphasis on professionalism. Today’s interior design students require sensitivity to both creativity and problem solving.

A convincing proof of the efficiency and quality of training offered by the Details School is our outstanding record of job placement opportunities for graduates and our strong ongoing links with the design industry. Graduates of Details School are offered jobs in leading architectural, interior decorating bureaus and show rooms. The School is proud of impressive portfolios of finished projects by its trainees including both residential and commercial design. In 2005 the project work of three graduates of Details School was featured in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review. The leading Russian design magazines regularly give coverage of projects accomplished by our former students, thus introducing new names in the field of interior design and decoration.

Since 2002 the school has been a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). We fully comply with IIDA standards of training and are able to take advantage of the educational benefits of IIDA membership programs.

It is important that upcoming interior designers are given the opportunity to network in the professional international field, and so Details School arranges visits to international fairs and exhibitions and master classes run by renowned designers. Our long-lasting association with KLC School of Design in London has proved to be particularly productive. In 2006 the two schools signed an affiliation agreement which opens up new horizons for professional training.

Details School strongly opposes ”conveyer belt” practices in the interior design education and adheres to personified attitude to every student attending the course and his or her aspirations. We do believe that such an attitude is a good foundation for a successful record.
